While charging up the stairs might get you there faster, it also puts unnecessary pressure on your knees—ouch. Dr Khatri also suggested some other things to keep in mind. It's gentle, effective, and doesn’t involve scary gym machines. Plus, it helps lower stress—something your joints and mind will thank you for. An AIIMS study even found that regular yoga reduced inflammation and stress hormones in people with rheumatoid arthritis. That’s science doing sun salutations.
